Then the Department for Children and Families' Grants and Contracts Unit may be just the place for you!

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail to join our close-knit team. The unit is based out of the Waterbury State Office Complex and while this position is based in Waterbury, there might be an opportunity for a limited hybrid (in office/remote) schedule.

Key qualifications include an understanding of financial reconciliation and budgeting, strength-based customer service, excellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability to work independently and juggle competing demands, flexibility, and willingness to learn. Having experience with Uniform Guidance, the Agency of Administration's Bulletins 3.5 and 5, agreement drafting, or development of detailed scopes of work is a plus!
