Job summary

Ross Stores in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a experienced Supervisor to lead hourly associates and temporary workers at the DC. You will assess production schedules, enforce safety, and drive top performance and quality across stores.

You will train and coach staff using the MAP process, organize daily work orders, maintain records, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with Area Supervisors, HR, and Merchandising Managers to meet production goals and maintain an issue-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an hourly team to ensure timely processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Train, motivate, coach, and evaluate associates using MAP process.
• Ensure rapid and accurate movement of merchandise through engineered methods and standards.
• Organize daily work orders and staffing to achieve production goals.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of work by Ross and temporary associates.
• Foster a positive, issue-free team culture and strong working relationships with supervisors and HR.
• Conduct daily huddle meetings and facilitate associate training on safety and processes.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations; manage disciplinary processes.
• Handle administrative tasks: interviews, evaluations, records, paperwork.
• Provide updates to DC Merchandise Manager on production planning and issues.
• Assist with special projects and plan team events.
