Genuine Parts Company seeks a Distribution Warehouse Manager to lead a team of Warehouse Supervisors in DC operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution to branches and customers.
You will drive customer service, staffing plans, safety programs, and cost controls while collaborating with the business to meet financial targets and improve processes.
The Distribution Warehouse Manager leads a team of Warehouse Supervisors in managing the day-to-day Distribution Center (DC) operations to maintain optimal levels of product inventory and ensure effective and efficient distribution of product to branches and or customers.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds, with assistance as necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
May need to be certified to operate a forklift and/or other mobile equipment.
