Compensation:

This position is hourly. The anticipated base pay range is $22.54-$33.79.

Position Details

Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on automated material handling system components to support the Distribution Center's goals. You will report to a Facilities Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to calls for assistance with building issues, interior and exterior.
  2. Complete assigned building repairs, such as mechanical, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, carpentry, and pneumatic repairs.
  3. Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document daily maintenance activities.
  4. Collaborate with contractors, service providers, and other Facilities personnel.
  5. Operate all automated material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center.
  6. Maintain all PIE fleet and related assets, including picking cars, batteries, and changing equipment.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 1 year of building and equipment maintenance experience.
  2. Experience with Microsoft and CMMS programs.
  3. Knowledge of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
  4. Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages weighing 50-75 lbs.
  5. Experience using electrical multi-meters, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, gauges, etc.
  6. Ability to interpret Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) drawings and schematics.
