Job summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To Perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each essential function Supervisor plans organizes daily activities of the assigned warehouse Safely and efficiently operate a forklift and other motorized equipment adhering to OSHA safety regulations Support with the measuring tracking and reporting on quality and productivity of assigned departments Supervise the direct storage of products inventory activities shipping and receiving loading and unloading cycle counts incoming and outgoing receipts and documentation and other warehousing related activities Communicate skillfully using a variety of mediums Accurately multiply divide add and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems Understand written instruction and complete appropriate documentation as directed Use a logical approach to troubleshooting issues and prioritizing production needs Recognize problems when they occur and to work toward the solution of those problems Pay attention to details and pursue quality in accomplishing work duties and tasks Look for opportunities to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness Supervise team members in a manner that enables growth and success through feedback training and encouragement Use independent judgment to ensure that team members follow company policy and maintain a safe work environment by encouraging safe practices and promptly resolving violations including initiating or recommending rewards and discipline as needed Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisormanager in discussing matters of importance Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location Work additional hours andor days as needed particularly during high volume periods to ensure that warehouse objectives are accomplished

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required 1 year of team lead experience preferably warehouse experience Must be able to obtain forklift license through Highline Warren Distribution
