Job summary

Rural King is seeking a spotter to move trailers and containers within a large warehouse/distribution setting. You will help ensure safe, efficient movement of goods to loading docks and storage areas while supporting a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include operating a spotter truck, performing related paperwork, and participating in safety and training programs. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with powered equipment are preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

A spotter is responsible for moving trailers and containers within a warehouse yard, distribution center, or large industrial facility. Their main job is to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods to and from loading docks and storage areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

• Responsible for moving containers/trailers with spotter truck to areas around the warehouse.

• Required to properly scale a trailer.
• Responsible for compliance in all aspects of equipment and grounds relating to all aspects of Rural King Distribution Center
• Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly and monthly
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• At Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Previous experience with powered industrial equipment
