Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a General Labor II with SME responsibilities in our distribution center in Indiana. The role blends core operations with hands-on training of new hires and cross-training of associates, emphasizing standard work, accuracy, and safety.

As an on-the-floor SME, you will reinforce standard work, support leadership during peak periods and changes, and ensure training is consistent, practical, and effective for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to execute standard work.
• Experience mentoring peers in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with DC systems, processes, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME, training and cross-training associates using approved Standard Work Instructions.
• Reinforce adherence to standard work and safety on the floor.
• Support leadership with advanced training needs, process changes, and ramp-ups.
• Provide real-time operational support and escalate systemic issues when needed.
