We have openings for Phlebotomists 2 on our Mobile Collections and donor center teams, which travel to blood drives or are based at locations across North, Central, and East Texas. Build relationships with donors and be part of the blood procurement process.

Qualifications

The Life of a Phlebotomist 2

As a lead in blood collection, responsibilities include sterile venipunctures, managing donor flow, assessing eligibility, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance. Lead daily team functions and participate in leadership training, with full attendance required.

Training Schedule for External Candidates

Training lasts up to nine weeks, with varied hours including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Standard Schedule After Training

Schedules are variable, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, provided 3 weeks in advance.

Location
  • Mobile Collections: Arrive in Bedford, TX, and travel to blood drives
  • Donor Centers: Located within North, Central, or East Texas
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of general work experience or relevant medical education
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior phlebotomy or medical experience
  • Experience in a regulated industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Motivated to become a driver through company programs
Benefits and Compensation

Starting at $18.75/hr, with additional earning opportunities for mobile drives, CDL or van driving, and location premiums. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k), health plans, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more. Schedules vary, with opportunities for advancement.
