Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for our distribution center in Hazleton, PA. You will oversee a single shift, drive safety, productivity, and on-time delivery while coordinating with the DC Manager on process improvements and performance metrics.

We value leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and the ability to mentor Advisors. The role requires 5+ years in distribution/warehouse and experience with PIE equipment, with bilingual Spanish/English as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Able to work a flexible shift schedule.
• Experience overseeing multiple areas simultaneously.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist Advisors/Supervisors in multiple departments.
• Motivate and work in a team environment.
• Ensure KPIs are on target for the operation.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities and safety.
• Mentor, train and develop Advisors for career progression.
• Develop and share best practices across shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Communicate new policies and procedures to Advisors and AutoZoners.
• Maintain a safe working environment with PPE.
• Ability to work in a Safety Sensitive environment.
• Other duties as assigned
