O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking team members for its distribution center in Missouri to maintain inventory integrity and ensure product availability. You will perform a variety of duties across inbound, outbound, QA, and general warehouse tasks.
Candidates should have basic computer skills, be able to pass a standardized test, work well with others, and quickly read and match alphanumeric codes. Spanish is a plus.
Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by the proper handling of product.
Performance any tasks that is required by DC leadership, especially in area of specific designation (e.g. Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance, etc.).
Research inventory discrepancies.
Keep all work areas neat and clean, including clean up of any spills that occur while performing job duties.
Observe all safety rules and regulations.
Team Members with experience may be designed as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all document action is completed. Trainers are responsible to explain specific job duties/functions. To help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey all departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
All other duties as assigned by DC Management team.
