Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Distribution Center team member to support operations at TJ Maxx and related brands. This role focuses on protecting assets, monitoring docks and security systems, and ensuring efficient movement of merchandise within the facility.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and basic computer skills. Prior loss prevention exposure is a plus, and related criminal justice education is preferred but

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Conflict resolution skills essential.
• Computer skills required to monitor systems and processes.
• Loss prevention experience preferred but not required.
• Education pertaining to Criminal Justice Field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection of all company assets, including people, property and information.
• Monitor Shipping/Receiving docks, trailer yard activities, alarm systems and access controls, parking lots and all other key areas.
• Oversee majority of merchandise entering or leaving the facility.
• Maintenance of established fire and safety regulations within the Distribution Center.
• Ensures incoming and outgoing trailers are processed.
• Maintains a professional manner and can effectively handle all situations.
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate potential dishonest activity.
• Display integrity and maintain confidentiality.
