Description

Distribution Center Loaders are responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products into and from trailers, including flatbeds. Prior forklift experience or ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner is required.

Pay Range: $15-20 /hr (based on experience)

• Loading & unloading of trailers, including flatbeds
• Maintain proper trailer weight distribution while maximizing trailer cubes/space
• Perform piece counts to verify accuracy
• Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
• Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
• Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
• Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
• Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
• Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
• Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.
• Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
