Job summary

Admiral Beverage in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Warehouse Loader to move materials within the plant, yard, or loading area. You will load and unload using hand tools, a forklift or pallet jack, and ensure safe, efficient handling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, preparing materials for transport, recording quantities, tagging and labeling, maintaining clean work areas, and following supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work orders or oral instructions.
• Attention to detail in counting and recording materials.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads materials from trucks using hands, forklift, pallet jack.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to identify items.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting.
• Moves materials from storage to loading area.
• Counts and records units moved, breakage and spoilage.
• Tags materials and labels containers.
• Stacks materials into bundles and wraps them.
• Keeps warehouse and offices clean and organized.
• Wears provided uniform and safety gear.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Rapid City, South Dakota

Warehouse Loader:

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack, as appropriate.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
• Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
• Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance warehouse and sales center offices.
• Wears Company provided uniform and safety equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
