Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support mission-critical federal-facing technology. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS, automation, and secure deployment across the CI/CD lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate resilient cloud infrastructure in a hybrid on-site environment in the Washington, DC metro area, with two days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience building, maintaining, or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure software development and deployment practices.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Build and manage infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and operations processes.
• Incorporate security controls throughout the SDLC and deployment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to align infrastructure with app requirements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in production and test environments.
• Support both new development and existing production systems.
• Participate in security implementation, validation, and testing activities.
