Gates Corporation in Lithonia, GA (Atlanta Metro) is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE programs across distribution center operations. You will partner with site leadership, Operations, and HR to strengthen safety performance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years HSE experience, and hands-on work with ISO 14001/45001, OSHA 1910, and EPA regulations.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field.
2+ years HSE experience in distribution center or warehouse.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Knowledge of OSHA 1910 standards and EPA regulations.
Experience leading incident investigations and audits.
Experience delivering HSE training in an operational setting.

Responsabilidades

Lead site-level Health, Safety, and Environmental programs in alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure distribution center operations comply with OSHA, EPA, and local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including audits and corrective actions.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to warehouse operations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards in receiving, picking, packing, storage, and material-handling.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions across DCs.
Oversee OSHA and environmental reporting, recordkeeping, and documentation.
Develop and deliver HSE training for employees, leaders, and contractors across shifts.
Lead site safety committees and promote a strong safety culture.
Partner with Operations and HR on workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce incidents and improve compliance.
Monitor environmental metrics to align with sustainability targets.
