Job summary

Design Within Reach, part of MillerKnoll, Inc., is hiring an Equipment Operator in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will pick orders accurately and safely, operate forklifts and related equipment, and help maintain high shipping standards.

GENERAL PURPOSE

As an Equipment Operator, you'll work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for filling customer orders accurately, productively, and safely as well as upholding our high shipping standards. The schedule for this role consists of 4x10hr shifts. (This is a full-time position with the potential for overtime).

• Operate company equipment to pick accurately and promptly according to company documents
• Review documentation verifying accuracy to exceed customer satisfaction
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards established by the company while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education/Experience

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds.
• Previous experience utilizing a forklift, reach truck or pallet jack.
• Have a high regard for workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Experience with cherry picker forklift is a plus.
• Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of our clients, which sometimes requires working after scheduled shifts and weekends.
