Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Industrial Engineer to improve distribution center efficiency and optimize operations under supervision. You will research methods to increase productivity, design processes, and develop tools for slotting and labor planning in multiple DCs.

You will collaborate with IT and external vendors to implement software solutions that enhance performance and provide exceptional internal customer service to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Labor Metrics Software and Engineered Standards.
• Ability to develop and implement tools for improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and measure distribution center performance against DC Best Business Practices.
• Analyze quality control and inventory control processes and methods; make improvement recommendations.
• Develop tools to enhance inventory slotting and labor planning in the DCs.
• Collaborate with IT personnel and external vendors to implement software solutions that boost productivity.
