Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to support the Area Manager by ensuring the smooth flow of operations across receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes.

You will mentor and empower your team, deliver proactive customer service, and lead initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced retail warehouse. This role requires leadership, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to Rural King's values of People First, Integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse leadership experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Flexibility with hours: the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.

• Assists in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating and coordinating the operational and personnel policies and procedures.

• Assists in inventory control levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
• Assists in completing warehouse operational requirements and following up on work results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
