Overview

Job Description: Pay Range: $47hr - $52hr

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a remote contractor crew handling hardware installation, device bring-up, rack stacking, IP configuration, and diagnostics.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and triage of system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with facilities teams for power and liquid cooling support (no direct facilities work).
  • Ensure crew readiness for urgent and weekend tasks, including scaling resources as needed.
  • Maintain operational continuity through effective crew leadership and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor task progress, quality, and compliance with operational standards.
  • The candidate will be highly responsive, organized, and capable of scaling team resources based on operational demand.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in data center operations, prototype hardware environments, and liquid cooling systems.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage remote teams and ensure consistent performance.
  • Experience in remote diagnostics and issue resolution.
  • Flexibility to support weekend and short-notice tasks.
  • Familiarity with operational KPIs and reporting.

  • Task Completion: Percentage of successful hardware installation, bring-up, and troubleshooting tasks.
