Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel associate for our Washington, DC Real Estate team to handle sophisticated transactional work and development matters. You will draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development documentation, and related due diligence materials.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of Real Estate experience, including title and survey review, and lender-side finance representation. Strong academics and client-service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

3–4 years of real estate transactional and development experience.
Experience with purchase and sale agreements, development documentation, title and survey review, and lender-side finance representation.
Knowledge of real estate joint ventures, real estate finance, leasing, and related sectors.
Strong academic credentials and client-service orientation; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Draft purchase and sale agreements and development documentation.
Conduct title and survey review and due diligence materials.
