Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in non-profit, advocacy, policy, government, or campaigns.
• Interest in health care advocacy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communications and persuasion skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a multi-client environment.
• Initiative to improve content and outreach.
• Willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support the Advocacy Management team in the day-to-day management of health care client projects
• Draft external communications, including newsletters, slide decks, and advocacy letters
• Provide event management support, including exhibit and conference management
• Serve as a regular point of contact for health advocacy partners and clients
• Drive day-to-day project operations, including running internal team meetings, building agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items to complete
• Develop and execute awareness and advocacy programming
• Manage relationships with allied stakeholders
• Support patient and clinician member engagement
• Research, analyze, and summarize health care policy issues
