Job summary

Vital Voices Global Partnership seeks a Project Manager for The Mothers’ Call based in Washington, DC. The role coordinates day-to-day operations across the Vital Voices team, movement co-leads, vendors, and coalition partners to ensure timely deliverables in English, Arabic, and Hebrew.

The role involves scheduling, preparing briefing materials, managing MERL tracking, and supporting anchor events. Travel up to 30% is required; remote candidates are not accepted.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, communications, or related field; 5 years of relevant work experience, or a graduate degree with 3 years.
  • Strong operational and event management background in complex contexts.
  • Experience in project management within international development, peacebuilding, or global women’s issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communications in English.
  • English plus Arabic and/or Hebrew preferred.
  • Experience working in the Middle East.
  • MS Office, and project management software proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own Phase 2 workplan; track deliverables, milestones, and dependencies across the pillars; manage team rhythms.
  • Coordinate production of movement outputs, including advocacy materials and policy documents; manage translations across English, Arabic, Hebrew.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination with vendors; serve as operational contact for coalition partners.
  • Support movement co-leads with scheduling, briefing materials, and meeting prep.
  • Maintain MERL indicators; compile quarterly progress and donor reports; flag risks.
  • Plan and execute anchor events (Barefoot Walk, Regional Network Summit, policy launch).
  • Other duties as assigned.
