Job summary

TBC Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate in Montgomery, AL. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour depending on experience. The role covers operating material handling equipment, receiving and stocking product, and supporting DC operations to meet profitability goals.

Responsibilities include keeping the warehouse organized, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining safety, with RF scanners and pre‑employment screenings part of the process. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • RF scanners experience preferred.
  • Safety‑first mentality.
  • Prior distribution center experience preferred.
  • Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively while bending and twisting, and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
  • Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre‑employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
  • Unload and put‑away product utilizing RF technology.
  • Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages).
  • Pick and stage product.
  • Load trucks.
  • Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
  • Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
  • Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
  • Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
  • Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.
