Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a DC Area Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, lead a team of Distribution Center Associates, and ensure shipping/receiving duties are performed safely and efficiently.

The role focuses on driving performance through coaching, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to policies, with a Monday-Thursday shift 4:30pm–2:30am and a compensation range of $50,000–$65,000. You will help get the right products to stores on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret policies to operate systems in the DC.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to access all areas of the DC, including mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs or more and to stand for extended periods.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Compensation Range: $50,000 - $65,000

You'll Come With

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or similarly related field) or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment
• Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the Mezzanine platforms
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
