Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a DC 3rd Class Engineer to support full building operations, monitor MEP systems, and maintain peak performance on every shift. The role requires a Class 3 Steam Engineer license and substantial hands-on experience with steam plant operations in a regulated setting.

Proficiency with monitoring systems, CMMS, BAS/BMS platforms, and strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

Valid stationary engineer license (DC Class 3) required.
5+ years steam plant operations experience; 3-5 with chemical analysis & troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring systems and automated control technologies.
Strong knowledge of DC regulations for steam systems.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs for industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Monitor safe system operations and keep systems at peak performance on shift.
Operate installed equipment, maintain temperatures, humidity, BAS displays/alarms.
Install, service, and maintain MEP systems including preventive maintenance and repairs.
