We believe that in order to provide excellent, client-centered service, we as an organization must support our providers in ways that enable them to put their clients first.Offices in Chaska, Maplewood, Apple Valley, Lakeville, Stillwater, Plymouth, Woodbury, Eagan, Minneapolis, Edina, and St. Louis Park.**Job Description**Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is excited to welcome a new DC: 0-5 Therapist to our practice. In this specialized role, you will provide outpatient mental health services to our youngest clients, ages 0-5, and their families, using the DC: 0-5 diagnostic framework. This position is open to both pre-licensed and fully licensed clinicians who have the specialized training and certification needed to work with infants, toddlers, and young children. Role responsibilities and duties include:* Provide ongoing outpatient mental health services through psychotherapy to children ages 0-5 and their families.* Conduct the intake process for new patients including diagnosis using the DC: 0-5 framework, assessments, goal creation, expectation setting, etc.* Create and enact client treatment plans appropriate to early childhood development. Monitor progress and be flexible in evolving and modifying treatment plans with clients' development. Continuously evaluate assessments to monitor client progress.* Coordinate client care with other necessary support and services in the best interest of clients (e.g. family, school, care givers, medical primary care providers, collaborative therapists etc.)* Complete documentation with a focus on quality, compliance, and in a timely manner.* Opportunity to establish your practice specialty in early childhood mental health, get referrals based on your expertise and access/refer to other specialists within the organization.* Access to supportive and collaborative in-house psychiatry services and in-house intensive outpatient programs for adults, adolescents, and children.* We offer salaried positions based on your choice of 20, 25, 30, or 35 client contact hours a week.* Keep up with Continuing Education requirements, maintain your DC: 0-5 certification, and keep your license or pre-licensure registration in good standing.**Must Have*** Completed Master's Degree.* Graduate coursework in clinical psychology or clinical social work.* DC: 0-5 certification and specialized training to provide assessment and diagnosis for ages 0-5.* Experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with young children and families.* Current active LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in good standing with the professional board, OR eligibility/current registration as a pre-licensed clinician working toward LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC (e.g. LGSW, LAMFT, LPC, or equivalent) in good standing with the professional board.* Computer skills including using Microsoft Office products and healthcare software.* Willingness to learn and adapt to the availability of new technology and software.**Your Skills & Expertise*** Ability to build rapport and trust with young clients and their families while being confident in your expertise.* Empathy, compassion, and a genuine passion for providing quality early childhood mental health care.* Experience with diagnosis and creating objective treatment plans appropriate to children ages 0-5.* Observe and understand a young client's readiness for treatment and tailor treatment to fit the child's developmental ability and needs.
