This hands-on role handles frozen food products in a temperature-controlled environment, focusing on accurate handling, safety, and efficiency. You will operate in a freezer and perform pick/pack/stock activities, ensuring proper inventory and quality control while maintaining a clean, organized space and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in freezer/cold storage environments.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work Mon-Fri in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Work in a freezer environment (-10°F to 0°F) for extended periods.
• Pick, pack, and stage frozen products for shipping and distribution.
• Stock, rotate, and organize frozen inventory.
• Load and unload pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or other equipment.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Inspect products for damage or quality issues.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas within freezer and dock spaces.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures.

Job Title: Day Shift Freezer Warehouse Associate

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Sea Breeze is looking for a reliable, dependable, hardworking team member to join our warehouse team in a Day Shift Freezer position. This is a hands-on warehouse position working with frozen food products in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for handling, storing, and moving frozen goods in a temperature-controlled environment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. We’re looking for someone who shows up ready to work, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a freezer environment (typically -10°F to 0°F) for extended periods
• Pick, pack, and stage frozen products for shipping and distribution
• Stock, rotate, and organize frozen inventory
• Load and unload pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, pickers, or other equipment
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
• Inspect products for damage or quality issues
• Maintain clean and organized work areas within freezer and dock spaces
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous freezer/cold storage warehouse experience
• Comfortable working in freezer temperatures for extended periods of time
• Operate Fork Lifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, and Pallet Jacks
• Dependable and punctual
• Team-oriented with a good work ethic and communication skills
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Warehouse, order-picking, food distribution, or freezer experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift, push and pull 25–50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work on your feet for extended shifts
