Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Coffee Shop Barista to greet customers, take orders, and craft beverages in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll keep the coffee shop stocked, maintain cleanliness, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile and the exact item they ordered.

No prior experience is required; training and support are provided as you learn Hy-Vee's standards for service, quality, and safety. This hourly role fits positions available on daytime shifts at our Minnesota locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.
• Able to stay organized and pace through a busy coffee shop.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders at the counter or by phone.
• Prepare and replenish coffee shop products during your shift.
• Monitor product freshness and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Handle payments at the register and process transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards and policies.
