Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is hiring a dependable Kitchen Helper/Cashier for Milbank School District. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–1:30pm, mixing kitchen support with cashier duties, serving meals, and operating the POS to create a welcoming experience for students.

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and comfort using a POS system.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve menu items, stock station, and follow portions and dietary guidelines.
Operate the POS system and process student meals accurately.
Follow recipes and keep kitchen and storage areas clean using FIFO.
Maintain food safety by following procedures and completing logs.
Help balance daily transactions and student accounts.
Communicate supply needs and feedback to the team and supervisors.
Stock and serve during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
Provide a welcoming, friendly environment and excellent customer service.
