Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead daily operations at Norris School District. This hands-on role requires supervising food production, inventory, ordering, safety, and team coordination to ensure meals meet quality and nutrition standards.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a supervisory food-service role, and ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain. Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a strong focus on service complete the package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in food service.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to complete.
• Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily food production by preparing meals and following recipes.
• Maintain clean work areas and FIFO storage; track inventories and production records.
• Coach team on safe HACCP practices and safety checklists.
• Act as kitchen point of contact, troubleshoot issues, reinforce policies.
• Place orders, manage inventory, adjust menus, and maintain prep lists.
• Train staff and cover district kitchens as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors, staff, and customers on updates.
