Job summary

The Nutrition Group is hiring for daytime roles in a local school kitchen/cafeteria. This position offers Monday through Friday hours with no evenings or weekends, and holidays off, plus PTO and 401(k) benefits.

We value reliability, good communication, and a willingness to learn in a supportive team environment. Key duties include cooking and food preparation, portioning and serving, maintaining sanitation per USDA/state guidelines, HACCP compliance, and cost/inventory monitoring.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Positive and consistent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for meals.
