Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to interact courteously with students, staff, parents, and community members.
• Some experience in custodial work is desirable.
• High school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school building housekeeping and perform duties per standards.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, stairs, and surfaces.
• Operate floor machines and attachments for cleaning.
• Scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors with heavy scrubbers.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; shampoo rugs periodically.
• General cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
