Job summary

Day Custodian Booth at PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 Maintenance in Pasco, WA. Eight-hour days, Monday through Friday, on a 260-day calendar, with salary between $26.43 and $29.19 per hour.

Open to in-district and current PSD1 substitutes. Starting date is To Be Determined and fingerprint screening is required. Position located at Booth Building, working under general supervision to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 months experience as a custodian
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Willingness to follow directions and safety rules
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform demanding tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, students and parents
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Booth Building and surrounding areas, including restrooms, entrances and driveways
• Perform routine custodial tasks to prepare and maintain facilities
• Support groundskeeping for stadium field house, bleachers and related areas
• Adhere to safety procedures and district policies while delivering friendly service to staff and students
