Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pain Treatment Center team. You will perform patient assessments, deliver nursing care, and participate in interdisciplinary planning to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires NC RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, ACLS/PALS within six months, and hospital nursing experience, with a focus on a multidisciplinary approach in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifikationen

• Active North Carolina RN license is required (compact optional).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• Experience in critical care, surgery, or emergency department is required.
• Two years of hospital clinical nursing experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify care needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Document medical necessity in the patient chart.
• Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Support KPI-focused performance and complete chart audits.
• Assist physicians and APCs with patient treatments.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage dressings.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique.
