Job summary

Jefferson Outpatient Imaging in Marlton, NJ is seeking an experienced X-ray technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center. The role involves performing radiographic procedures under the Radiology Medical Director, with daytime hours and no weekends or nights.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of radiography experience, an Associate degree in Radiology, ARRT certification, and state licensure; BLS within 60 days of hire. Knowledge of ALARA required.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and current state licensure required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Strong ability to work independently and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Receives, relays, and documents orders in the patient’s medical record.
• Positions patient and performs radiographic procedures per protocol for diagnostic interpretation.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and assists with QA activities.
