Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, PA is seeking a full-time Prep Cook for the Owl's Nest Restaurant on our Warwick Woodlands campus. The role features a daytime schedule, 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year experience in general food service or on-the-job training.
• Some knowledge of nutrition and modified diets preferred.
• Some experience with banquets and buffets preferred.
• Some experience with garnishing techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations established by the Pennsylvania Health Department.
• Assist Breakfast Cook with service, prep, and dishwashing.
• Estimates quantities of food needed and time required to meet menu requirements.
• Preps all food items on the menu according to recipe standards.
• Washes dishes as needed.
• Cleans equipment and work area according to procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Assists in set-up and serving at special functions as needed.
