Job summary

HomeGrown Prep Cook is a key member of our kitchen team, responsible for prep work and station maintenance, following recipes and our scratch kitchen standards.

You'll work daytime shifts with a schedule that ends by 3:30 pm, enjoy a supportive, kindness-driven culture, and receive full-time benefits including PTO, vision, dental, and medical insurance. Join us to help serve great breakfast and brunch to Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for up to 10 hours per day.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned prep work (70%).
• Set up workstation (5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes and specifications (5%).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%).
