ABM in Reno, NV is seeking a Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during business hours. You will focus on high-traffic areas, respond to immediate cleaning needs, and ensure restrooms and common spaces stay presentable throughout the day.

The position offers part-time hours with a Monday–Friday 10am–2pm shift and a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. A specific offer will reflect experience, skills, and location, with a standard hourly pay range as described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or porter experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor
• Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors
