Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal education required; Hy-Vee provides training.
• Valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions; must be 18+ to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to handle confidential patient information and HIPAA considerations

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names
• Deliver prescriptions to specified locations in a timely and professional manner
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle multiple times per shift; navigate stairs and varying terrain
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle inside and out
• Facilitate maintenance and upkeep of delivery vehicles and report issues promptly
• Maintain confidentiality of customers' private medical information
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive work environment
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and Hy-Vee policies
