HCA HealthONE Metropolitan OB/GYN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in a busy outpatient practice. You will provide clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care and support a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes patient flow, triage, and nursing duties in an office setting, with responsibilities that include preparing patients, administering medications, and coordinating testing and admissions as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients.
• Greeting patients and preparing them for physician’s examination.
• Providing general nursing care to patients as necessary for office treatment.
• Screening patients for appropriate information.
• Instructing patients in collection of samples and tests.
• Arranging for patient testing and admissions.
• Checking rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Responding to and referring incoming telephone calls.
• Instructing patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintaining and reviewing patients’ records and other pertinent information.
• Posting tests and examination results.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Administering medications in accordance with physician orders.
