SYNERGY HomeCare of Eagan is urgently hiring a compassionate Male Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one personal care for male clients across Hastings, Farmington, and Eagan. A Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) applies for gender designation based on client privacy requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PCA experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle to commute to client homes in Eagan, Hastings, and Farmington.
• Dependable, respectful, punctual, and a strong communicator.
• Ability to pass a state background check and fulfill standard onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Respectfully assist male clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene routines.
• Mobility & Transfers: Provide safe transfer assistance, positioning, ambulation support, and light mobility exercises.
• Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Companionship & Observation: Build strong, positive relationships, offer emotional support, and accurately report any health changes to the care coordinator.
