Job summary

Community Services in New Prague, MN, is hiring daytime lifeguards for the 2026-27 school year. Typical shifts start between 7-9am and end at noon, with 1-2 daytime weekday shifts per week and options for additional early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include surveillance, emergency response, and customer service. Qualified candidates must be at least 15, possess energy and enthusiasm, interact well with the public, be punctual, and hold a Red Cross Lifeguard

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Ability to work independently with energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to positively interact with co-workers and the public.
• Punctual, responsible and self‑motivated.
• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
• Able to act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Maintains a clean facility performing housekeeping duties.
• All other duties as assigned and appropriate.
