Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help monitor state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and outdoor.

You will greet members, oversee safety, rescue swimmers in danger, and assist with aquatics events and pool activities, while maintaining a clean pool area. The role requires certification in StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid, plus the ability to swim 300 yards and tread water for a minute, with the strength to lift loads up to 20 lbs as needed.

Formación

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
• 6 months of customer service experience is preferred.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as “Dive in Movies” & “Poolapalooza.”

• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge toStarGuardwhen current certification expires or within 1styear, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping

• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
