Job summary

Good Evans is seeking a daytime dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will ensure all dishes, glasses and utensils are cleaned and sanitized for service, and assist in maintaining a tidy, safe work area throughout each shift.

The role requires stamina to stand for long periods in a hot environment, the ability to work under pressure, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Training is provided, with pay ranging from $15 to $17 per hour and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect for health and safety guidelines.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher to provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils.
• Sort and stack dishes and glassware and store properly.
• Work with kitchen staff to maintain flow of clean dishes.
• Maintain the dishwashing area in a clean, organized, safe condition.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties as assigned.
• Dispose of garbage and food waste properly.
• Report equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
