Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for Masonic Village Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in New Jersey. This full-time role runs 7:30AM to 3:30PM and offers the opportunity to contribute to a caring, home-like environment in a 121-bed facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, disinfecting equipment, stocking carts, and following safety procedures. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• The ability to follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned.
• Keeps utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Cleans inside resident room windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, transports trash to disposal area.
• Stock housekeeping cart at end of day, secure chemicals in cart.
• Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.
