Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking an Environmental Services team member for housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable community environment. The role is full-time TEMP with 7 am–3 pm shifts and every other weekend required, starting pay at $16.00 per hour.

You will work within a healthcare setting, applying cleaning and laundry procedures, ensuring quality resident care, and supporting a compassionate team culture that values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial laundry services.
• Experience in a healthcare or service-related industry.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific cleaning and laundry procedures as outlined in the Environmental Services Manual.
• Sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and separate those items that require special stain removal/treatment.
• Sort, count and wash soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., in accordance with established procedures.
• Press/iron garments as instructed.
• Cleans floors, including sweeping, dusting, and damp/wet mopping.
• Fold, count, stack, hang and distribute clean laundry, linen, garments, etc. to residents daily and/or as instructed.
