Happy Maids, Inc is a family-owned cleaning service serving the northwest suburbs of Chicago for over 40 years. We’re seeking reliable cleaners who can travel to clients’ homes with their own vehicle.

Training is paid, no prior cleaning experience required, and schedules run Monday through Friday from early morning to mid-afternoon. You’ll clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and more, with supplies provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Paid training provided; no cleaning experience required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes throughout the northwest suburbs using your own reliable transportation.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Perform occasional detail cleaning such as baseboards, window sills, and other deep-cleaning tasks.
• Work independently in smaller homes and with other team members on larger cleaning projects.
• All cleaning supplies, equipment, and training are provided by Happy Maids.
• Communicate professionally with clients and office staff.
• Report damages, maintenance concerns, or client requests.

What You’ll Do Each Day

• Travel to clients’ homes throughout the northwest suburbs using your own reliable transportation
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and common areas

Training & Support

• New employees work alongside an experienced trainer
• Training typically lasts 1–3 weeks depending on experience level
• No professional cleaning experience required

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check
• Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Able to lift, bend, reach, and be on your feet during shifts
• Works well independently and with a team
• Flexible weekday availability
• Work schedules are assigned Monday-Friday. Depending on availability, start times typically range from 7:00am to 9:00am, and most team members finish their workday between 3:00pm and 5:00pm

Service Area

We clean homes throughout Barrington, Crystal Lake, Cary, Lake Zurich, Algonquin, Hoffman Estates, and surrounding northwest suburbs.
