Job summary

Responsibilities include following care plans, documenting care, taking vital signs, and adhering to HIPAA and facility policies while delivering compassionate, non-judgmental care to diverse individuals.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and reliable caregiver with a passion for helping others.
• Six months of CNA or healthcare/homecare experience.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or competency evaluation meets state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow CareBuilders at Home policies and client facility policies.
• Take vital signs and document according to facility protocols.
• Provide personal care services as assigned and follow the patient’s plan of care.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and communicate effectively with staff.
• Record patient input/output and participate in continuing education as required.
• Respect autonomy, rights and dignity of clients, considering cultural diversity.
