Qualifications

• Must complete all background checks and clearances.
• Must complete Pennsylvania School Security Officer training.
• Maintain required certifications, clearances, and training throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional security presence throughout the school day.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols based on the daily schedule.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated exterior areas.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, lunch, and other school activities to maintain a safe environment.
• Interact professionally with students, families, staff, and visitors.
• Observe and report unusual or unsafe activity and respond to safety concerns.
• Complete required activity logs and incident reports.
