Job summary

Peace Valley Recovery is seeking a Daytime PHP Group Facilitator with substance abuse treatment experience in Hamilton, New Jersey. The role focuses on counseling and guiding groups to support recovery and engagement in treatment.

You will lead 4–5 groups per week with a guaranteed 2 paid hours per group, and a schedule that fits daytime hours. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, plus experience in counseling, is preferred to foster compassionate, patient-centered care.

Peace Valley Recovery is a PHP/IOP treatment program located in Hamilton New Jersey. We are looking for the immediate hire of a Daytime PHP Group Facilitator with substance abuse treatment experience.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and advise groups with substance abuse problems.
• Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs.
• Facilitate recommendations of other healthcare or counseling professionals.
• Properly and accurately document all treatment provided.
• Knowledge of ASAM patient placement criteria and DSM-V.

Requirements

We would prefer to hire those individuals with behavioral health or mental health experience. A focus in substance abuse is desired.

Hours

Looking for someone to run 4-5 groups per week. Schedule is flexible and the group facilitator will be guaranteed 2 paid hours per group ran.
